The Penumbra is a mid-century inspired floor lamp, designed with safety as well as style in mind.
Safety and stability
- Safe wiring: PVC-insulated, sheathed 3-core flexible cable (0.75mm²) with an earth wire, to protect you in case of an electrical fault.
- Secure cable: Cable grips hold the cable firmly where it enters the metal and again at the top.
- Stable: The weight is well distributed and the base is heavy. The lamp only topples at a 29° tilt, almost five times the 6° stability test used for luminaires in Kenya.
- Convenient: It comes with a CE- and ENEC-marked footswitch (2A, 250V).
